A.R. Genève / Standards
Procurement standards
We choose specialists who can demonstrate the precision, finish and material traceability required for the work they take on.
Why we choose a supplier
A case maker must show it can hold the specified proportions and finish. A gemstone specialist must document the stone, disclose treatments and protect it in transit. A setter must show it can secure and align the stone at the scale of the dial. We also assess lead times, service support and how the supplier resolves a failed inspection.
How we qualify the work
We verify the supplier’s identity and relevant work, then agree the drawing, materials, acceptance criteria and evidence required. Samples are reviewed before production. We require written approval for material or process changes that affect the approved specification.
What we verify before release
We check incoming parts against their records and inspect the finished assembly for fit, clearances, setting and finish. Each finished gemstone must be individually identifiable on a GIA report. The watch or set includes the report or a complete copy covering each stone.
Our watchmaking benchmark
Fine Swiss watchmaking sets our benchmark for precision, finishing and documented inspection. Any Swiss origin claim is verified separately for the specific reference.
